Have you ever wondered what it’s like to be at the center of innovation and technology? Well I’ve been there, and let me tell you, it’s surreal. But seriously, there is no other place quite like it. Created and led by Arlington’s own Consumer Technology Association (CTA), each January thousands of people connect in Las Vegas at the International Consumer Electronics Show (CES). In this one place, you can preview and play with tech products before they are released to the global market, run into a celebrity (or two) and meet some of the most ambitious entrepreneurs in the world and influencers in the consumer tech industry.
As Arlington moves to diversify its business community, conferences like CES put the County in a position to simultaneously learn about the future of technology from experts and innovators. It also gives us a chance to present Arlington as an ideal tech hub ready to support the fastest growing tech companies. Not to mention, the conference provides multiple opportunities to speak directly to key investors, venture capitalists and other potential collaborators.
Earlier this year, Arlington Economic Development (AED) was at the center of the emerging talent in CES’s Eureka Park. As CTA describes it, Eureka Park is the “flagship startup destination at CES” where we met more than 200 people in our booth. Next year, we are heading back to this marketplace and we’re ready to meet even more of you.
Interested in partnering with us at CES? Want to do business on the show room floor? Sign up now to get more information as we release partnership opportunities! If you’re going to the show, tweet us (@AEDBizInvest) or leave us a message on Facebook. And of course, we can’t wait to meet you in person.
See you in Eureka Park, Booth #50241!Topic: BIG Update
