For more than 110 years, the FBI has adapted to meet the nation’s most complex threats. Today, its Cyber Division leads federal cyber investigations with teams in every field office.

In 2024 alone:

The FBI led 17 major joint cyber operations against top-tier adversaries linked to China, Russia, Iran, and global cybercriminal networks.
Operation Endgame, coordinated with partners in 12 countries, dismantled more than 100 criminal servers and disrupted ransomware ecosystems.
The Bureau helped counter China’s Salt Typhoon and Volt Typhoon campaigns targeting U.S. telecommunications and critical infrastructure.
