Presented in partnership with the Arlington Public Library and BizLaunch.
Join us for this special Hispanic Heritage Month event celebrating the entrepreneurs, stories, and traditions that help make Arlington a vibrant and welcoming community. Through food, conversation, and shared experiences, we'll highlight the many ways Hispanic-owned businesses contribute to Arlington's cultural richness and economic vitality.
The event will begin with a chef talk and cooking demonstration by Genny Defoor, founder of Panamerican Bakery, who will share her culinary expertise and entrepreneurial journey. She will be joined by Maria and Sofia Tapias, co-owners of Dov & Company, for a panel discussion on business ownership, creativity, resilience, and the importance of community in building successful ventures.
Attendees will have the opportunity to enjoy food samples inspired by Hispanic cuisine while networking with local professionals, business leaders, and community partners and gaining a deeper appreciation of Hispanic cultures and traditions. Spanish interpretation will be available. Registration is required, and space is limited.
Together, we are more. Join us as we celebrate the people, cultures, and businesses that continue to enrich Arlington and help it thrive.
