We understand that many of you are operating in unprecedented conditions right now in the wake of the COVID-19 pandemic. Arlington Economic Development (AED) recognizes that we are in unchartered territory – changing by the minute. In this time of uncertainty, we want to reach out to let you know that we stand ready to work with you in any way we can.

As updated information at this time is paramount, we assume that you, as commercial property owners and managers, are in close communication with your tenants and trust you are all working proactively to provide measures to maintain some economic stability in this very trying time. AED wants to ensure that you are aware of the resources available for Arlington’s business community.

AED is maintaining a site, which is continually updated, with relevant information and resources for impacted businesses.
The County is exploring options for providing additional resources and assistance to support businesses who are experiencing hardship.
The U.S. Small Business Administration has administratively declared an economic disaster for Arlington County. Any small business is eligible to apply for a low-interest federal disaster loan for working capital as a result of economic injury due to the Coronavirus (COVID-19).

In order to better understand the needs of you and your tenants, we ask that you to take a moment to fill out the following survey. We understand you may have received questions from us previously, but this will help us delve a little deeper into the impact in our various business sectors and provide resources that are responsive to the needs of Arlington’s diverse property owner community.
