This month, Northeastern University officially launched its new Arlington campus, specifically focusing on security-, resiliency-, and technology-related programs. Northeastern’s first cohort of graduate students will begin virtually this fall, with plans to open in-person instruction for spring 2023. Northeastern’s plans for an Arlington campus have been in the making since November 2019, disclosing the location and programs in March 2021.

Initially, the Arlington campus will offer certificate- and graduate-level programs such as Blockchain and Smart Contract Engineering, Computer Science, Project Management, and Software Engineering Systems, with plans to expand the number of programs. Northeastern’s vision for the Arlington campus is to facilitate collaboration between the public and private sectors through research and workforce partnerships with government, industry, and the community.
