Curb side, delivery and takeout have been viable ways for many establishments, especially restaurants, to stem the tide of losses from lack of dine–in and catering business. Looking for a cheeky card and some unique accessories? Covet boutique has curbside delivery and shipping. Ceramic artist Tried and Truhn is sure to have the perfect handmade mugs for mom’s ideal tea and bowls for comforting soup. 

For the mom who has everything? Gift cards and donations can make a long-lasting impression. Some Arlington businesses have even gone a step further to leverage their networks and re-position themselves as a social service safety net. Bayou Bakery in Courthouse is pairing with Real Food for Kids and Arlington Public Schools to provide free plant based meals every weekday to Arlington families, military households and underserved families until schools reopen. Good Company Doughnuts & Café is supporting Arlington AHC COVID-19 response efforts with meals for residents suffering hardships as a result of the coronavirus pandemic and providing meals to students. Purchasing gift cards or donating are ways to support these efforts and keep our businesses thriving in the long run.
