Find Great Deals on Unique Gifts this Holiday Season at the Shop Local

Arlington Economic Development’s BizLaunch, the Forever Grateful community market, and the Hyatt Regency Crystal City are coming together to offer shoppers the opportunity to find unique holiday gifts from local merchants this holiday season. The Shop Local Winter Bazaar, the largest indoor market in the region, will feature the works of local artisans and small businesses throughout the region, offering everything from edible gifts to works of art, memorabilia, music and much more. The bazaar will take place December 17-18 from 10:00 a.m. – 4:00 p.m. at the Hyatt Regency Crystal City.

Forever Grateful Market is a curated marketplace that highlights small businesses and entrepreneurs in DC, Maryland and Virginia. Its seasonal outdoor markets at Long Bridge Park already have gained a dedicated following, and this indoor winter bazaar, the first of what organizers hope will become an annual event, will be its largest yet. Market organizers have teamed up with BizLaunch, Arlington’s small business assistance network, and the Hyatt Regency to create this one-of-a-kind holiday event.

Admission to the market is $10 for a one-day admission or $15 for a weekend pass. There, attendees have the chance to win a variety of raffle prizes, get holiday gifts professionally wrapped, and enjoy samplings, music and other sensory experiences that allow them to step back and enjoy.

In the spirit of giving back for the holidays, a portion of the proceeds from the event will be donated to Arlington Thrive and the Arlington Food Assistance Center.
