BizLaunch director Tara Palacios has brought her knowledge and tips for succeeding in small business overseas – specifically to hopeful business owners and entrepreneurs in the Ukraine.

Palacios has spent the last week participating in business discussions and workshops in Kyiv and Lviv, where she led discussions on entrepreneurship and shared best practices on the importance of small business in the community and the entrepreneurial ecosystem of the United States and how that works to support startups and small businesses.

She also participated in workshops with the Kyiv School of Economics and Lviv Business School as part of Global Entrepreneurship Week and shared some ideas relating to new technologies and budgeting networks while hearing examples of successful Ukranian startups at workshops aimed at youth entrepreneur networks and women in business associations.

The BizLaunch trip was part of a small business exchange program with the U.S. Embassy and the State Department. It's the first time a member of the BizLaunch team conducted a workshop of this kind overseas.
