Arlington County has earned the No. 2 ranking in the 2026 Digital Counties Survey for counties with populations between 150,000 and 249,999. The Center for Digital Government, in partnership with the National Association of Counties, recognized Arlington for its use of technology to support government operations, strengthen public services and improve outcomes for the community.

The distinction reflects more than one year of achievement. The 2026 award marks the 15th time Arlington has placed among the top three counties in its population category, including seven years in the No. 1 position.
