AED Welcomes Solidcore HQ to Arlington

Arlington Economic Development is pleased to welcome [solidcore] to the 'Fittest City in America.' Announced today, Solidcore it will be moving its corporate headquarters to Arlington, VA. Citing the need for more space and easy access to public transportation, the company will be relocating from Washington, D.C. to 12,000 SF of office space in Arlington's Rosslyn neighborhood. The lease at 1735 N. Lynn St. was signed in June with plans to take temporary space in the building until work can be completed on the company's first custom-designed permanent space.

The new space, designed by Washington, D.C.’s Hickok Cole, has plans to include an in-house exercise studio hosting Solidcore’s proprietary “sweatlana” exercise machines, which the training and product development team can use to design and test new exercises and equipment upgrades. It will also include phone rooms and small meeting rooms to accommodate the changing needs of today's workplace. In addition, IT assistance will be readily available to ensure virtual employees are engaged in meetings being held at the new HQ. Move-in is slated for April 2024.

The company was founded in 2013 with one studio in Washington, D.C. With 90 studios at the beginning of 2023 and following the opening of its 100th studio space in Santa Monica, California, Solidcore aims to have 250 locations and potentially international locations by 2028. When it moved into its current headquarters location in 2020 the company had 520 employees nationwide, it has over 1,700.
