
The site includes the existing 141-room Red Lion Hotel, which was originally constructed in the 1950s and substantially renovated and expanded in the 1980s, the currently vacant Ellis Arms Apartments, and the Williamsburg Apartments. The approved plan rezones the property from RA-H to the RA4.8 zoning district. The applicant proposes to redevelop and replace with an eight story multi-family residential building with up to 446 residential units and 256 structured parking spaces.
