Special guest, Megan Carras, brings extensive expertise in fundraising, research, and writing, with a focus on supporting low-income entrepreneurs in the D.C. area. Megan has worked as a non-profit fundraising consultant, helping organizations across the U.S. with their grant programs. Her deep experience includes working with The Nature Conservancy and other non-profit sectors, providing her with firsthand knowledge of the strategic needs for successful fundraising.

Megan holds a Ph.D. in Geography and Sustainable Development from the University of St Andrews in Scotland, an MSc in Environmental Technology from Imperial College London, an MA in Environmental Management from Harvard University, and a BA in Environmental Science from the University of Virginia.
