AED Coordinates Employee Town Hall with Accenture and Senator Warner

In early February, Senator Warner’s office contacted AED expressing interest in engaging a GovCon company in Arlington to discuss the state of government contracting in the technology and cybersecurity sectors. 

Senator Warner’s office selected Accenture Federal Services and asked AED to set up the town hall, which was held on March 5 at Accenture’s Ballston office.

At the event, Senator Warner shared insights on how AI is becoming a focal point in Congress and discussed the challenges of keeping up with other countries. He also stressed the importance of continuing support to countries like Ukraine. At the town hall, it was further noted that less than 1% of the U.S. federal budget goes towards foreign aid, underscoring -- in Senator Warner's opinion -- the importance of maintaining U.S. global leadership. The event attracted over 100 attendees, including the Ballston BID.
