DESCRIPTION
The Until Help Arrives program was developed with the goal of building a continuum of care, including community efforts to be the help, until help arrives.

PART ONE: CURRICULUM (Tuesday, October 22)
The training will be held in two parts. The first part will teach participants the Until Help Arrives training including introduction, respond, rescue, report, and survey sections. The bulk of the training is on the rescue portion. The entire training will last 8 hours.

PREREQUISITE
Attendees must complete a 45-minute training as a prerequisite. It is designed to introduce students to the top four preventable medical treatments of tactical emergency casualty care that will be built upon in the additional hands-on training. https://emergency.arlingtonva.us/until-help-arrives/

PART TWO: TEACH BACK (Thursday, October 31)
The second part will require students to teach the Until Help Arrives training back to the trainers to ensure they understood key concepts and can communicate those concepts to non-public safety personnel. This session will last 4 hours.
