CANCELED: Social Media Basics

Thank you so much for your interest in Community Engagement Workshop. To ensure the health and safety of our community,  Arlington County has recently issued Guidance for Public Meetings and Gatherings to Mitigate and Contain the Spread of COVID-19.  In alignment with this guidance, we will need to cancel this gathering at this point in time.

Feeling left out of social media? Not sure if Instagram, Twitter or Facebook are right for you? This Social Media Basics class is an overview class targeting creative types. If you are excited about your creative endeavors or hobbies and want to share them with the world, this class might help.

The course addresses what social media is and how you can use it. Unlike other social media courses, we do not try to convince you that you must be using social media. Rather, this social media course gives you the tools and knowledge you need to make that decision for yourself.

The class introduces social media sites such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, YouTube and TikTok.
