CANCELLED: Maximizing Your Smartphone for Photos

Thank you so much for your interest in Community Engagement Workshop. To ensure the health and safety of our community,  Arlington County has recently issued Guidance for Public Meetings and Gatherings to Mitigate and Contain the Spread of COVID-19.  In alignment with this guidance, we will need to cancel this gathering at this point in time.

A picture is worth a thousand words. Everybody these days needs compelling images to be well represented and to promote themselves on social media.

In this two-hour workshop, you will learn how to take good images with your basic Smartphone, a tool almost all of us have in hand. Just by understanding a few principles on what makes a good image and best practices, one can get the most out of their phone cameras to create stunning images. This workshop focuses on photographing indoors and outdoors be it for personal use or professional-quality photos. Techniques and best practices and tools will help the individual understand basic photography concepts that will help them take good photos.
