Many of us have commented or heard comments about the changes in Arlington’s landscape in recent years. In that time, Arlington photographers Lloyd Wolf, Aleksandra Lagkueva, Mimi Xang Ho, Paula Endo and Duy Tran have been documenting that change – particularly in Arlington’s Columbia Pike neighborhood. Now – for one day only – experience the spirit of the Pike through these mesmerizing images with a special pop-up art gallery showcasing these talented photographers’ visions.
A photography exhibit from the recently released photo book Living Diversity will fill the street space at Arlington Mill Community Center, showcasing 50 portraits of life on Columbia Pike from these photographers, as well as the Indie Photobook Library, a collection of independently published photo books collected and curated by Arlingtonian Larissa Leclair.
Living Diversity book available for purchase at event.
