Arlington County Women of Vision Awards

Presented by Arlington County Commission on the Status of Women

The Women of Vision awards are presented each year by the Arlington County Commission on the Status of Women. The awards are given to individuals who demonstrate a strong commitment to women’s issues and have, over time, developed and communicated their vision for women and engaged community members and other leaders in order to realize this vision.

This year we will also be honoring Dr. Emma Violand-Sanchez with a Lifetime Achievement Award for her committment to bettering the lives of women and girls throughout the decades in Arlington County.

About the Ceremony and Tickets:

Winners in the categories of business, government and nonprofit will be honored in the 31st Annual Women of Vision Award Ceremony on Tuesday, June 27 at 7:00 p.m. at Arlington Economic Development. Paid parking is available and it is also conveniently located near the Orange and Silver lines in Ballston.

The suggested donation for a ticket to this year’s ceremony is $25.
