Arlington Chamber of Commerce: Small Business Roundtable

The Chamber's monthly Small Business Roundtable is free to members, but space is limited so registration is requested. The topic of discussion changes monthly, allowing attendees to learn how to enhance their business and increase their success in a different way each month.

May's topic is “How to Make Meaningful Investments that Better Your Advocacy Efforts” presented by Marcio Silveira of the Toler Financial Group. This presentation will introduce the concept of responsible investing and discuss ways to help organizations and its employees align their investments with the company’s mission. The topic covered is relevant to nonprofit organizations and anyone interested in investing with a purpose beyond the narrow focus of financial returns. The lecture will cover responsible investing, ways investors can make a difference, and offer examples of investors with positive impacts.
