This Month's Speaker: Fireside Chat: How to Keep Yourself and Your Business Going Despite Obstacles.  Karen Bate of KB Concepts P.R. will talk with Rebecca Linder, Founder & CEO of Linder Global Events

What would you do if your life revolved around events for hundreds of thousands of people, like the opening of the National Museum of African American History and Culture, the National Cherry Blossom Festival, and the 50th Anniversary of the Apollo 11 Moon landing, and suddenly the world stopped?  As CEO of a thriving large-scale events business, the pandemic has been an obvious obstacle to overcome.  Other obstacles Rebecca faced include being a female business owner in a male-dominated industry and being thought of as “too young” to have a legitimate business.  Find out how to be resilient, overcome obstacles, recharge and keep going.

To be eligible you must be a person who organizes and operates a business or businesses.  This includes any profession in which you are 100% personally responsible for any failure or success, and you have to run the business itself and acquire your own customers
