Arlington Economic Development is proud to announce the winners of the 2019 Fast Four competition.
The Fast Four competition recognizes companies with the fastest level of growth year-over-year in four revenue categories. Winners were announced at the Arlington Premiere business networking reception held on Dec. 5, 2019 at the Ballston Quarter.
Participating companies were evaluated in four revenue categories after an online application and were required to provide income statements to show proof of growth and revenue. To be eligible, companies had to be privately held and based in Arlington, showing continuous revenue growth over a three-year period.
Deft Consulting is a software services firm specializing in Appian low-code implementations. Deft was founded in 2016 by a former Appian Corporation employee, Scott Frantz, and the company has become a highly regarded official partner of Appian Corporation. Scott mentioned that Arlington County has also been extremely helpful in facilitating his business's learning and growth as a small business, namely AED and the Arlington Chamber of Commerce.
Hungry Marketplace is a food-tech catering company that offers a mobile and online food platform that connects professional chefs to customers. They will also deliver the fresh food from these chefs to the customers. Started in 2016, the company expanded rapidly from the Washington area to Philadelphia, Atlanta and recently to Boston. Hungry has deep roots in Arlington. Some of the founders live here and have founded several other Arlington-based companies such as Buysafe and Livesafe.
Founded in 2012, Capitol Bridge is an Arlington, Virginia-based SBA 8(a) business providing data and record management services, independent medical reviews, medical coding, and administrative staffing. With offices in Arlington, Pittsford NY, and Indianapolis IN, Capitol Bridge has strategically developed its geographic footprint that allows them to be in close proximity to their customers. Capitol Bridge has served a wide variety of customers, including the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services, Walter Reed Army Institute of Research, Arlington National Cemetery, the Federal Aviation Administration and other government agencies at both a federal and state level.
